Physical Education Consulting Services
At ActiveEd Consultancy, I specialise in empowering and inspiring educators in early childhood education to deliver high-quality physical education programs. I work closely with early learning services to support the development and implementation of an engaging curriculum with focus on essential physical skills and clear learning outcomes.
Partnering with early childhood education services and kindergartens to identify needs, and deliver customised strategies for improving physical education offerings. I consult with directors, educational leaders and educators, to foster enthusiasm for physical education and a culture of skill based learning within the service.
Client Consultation
Our physical education programs are developed in consultation with the service, and come as a complete step-by-step activity guide for educators to follow. Each session has a clear learning objective, while following the children's interests and current learning focuses. The activities are fun and engaging, but ensure each child leaves the session having learnt one of our 12 essential physical skills.
Program Development
Our resources such as curriculum plans and activity guides are complete with teaching points, learning outcomes and delivery methods. We also include information on the learning behind each activity that educators can share with families. Our aim is to make it as easy as possible to embed a quality physical education program in your centre.
Resource Creation
We offer workshops, training sessions, and seminars to support educators in refining their teaching practices and building confidence in delivering their new physical education program.
Professional Development
We provide ongoing mentorship to educators, offering practical guidance and ensuring the sustainability of the physical education program. Mentoring is offered face to face or online, and within practical sport sessions or off the floor.
